My new website

Well the first bit of news is that this is my new website, my old website is still up, but now it only has a link to this one.

The main piece of news that I have for you is that the third book in the Astrid series, ‘Astrid Book 3: The early missions’, will be published by Austin Macauley later this year.

I’ll post news here as and when things occur; the blog pages will feature various themes. There will be samples of both Astrid book 1 and 2 and teaser trailers for Astrid book 3.

There will also be synopses and teasers of all my other writing.

There are seven books in the crime based ‘Branford Chronicles’ series. These follow the charter arc of Naomi Charlton, a female detective in a fictitious English town. Book number eight in the series is work in progress as I write this.

There are two horror novellas inspired by the glorious old Hammer Horror movies, and I have the bare bones for a third – no pun intended.

In a change from my usual thrillers, I am also part way through writing a fantasy parody that I hope will include every cliché from the genre that I can think of – dragons, giants, maidens in peril, swords, you know the sort of thing. I’m having a lot of fun with that.

I’ll also post things I’ve learned since taking up writing, hints and tips etc…

But it won’t always be about writing, from time to time there’ll be recipes for the things I like to cook. I’m a part-time vegetarian and occasional vegan and I have a couple of recipes that even confirmed carnivores would enjoy.

There will be nothing political – there are plenty of other places for that, and there’ll be no ‘isms’ in my blogs; there’s enough ignorance in the world and I don’t need to add to it (and that’s about as controversial as I will get).
