The Essex Writers Day
I am thrilled to have been invited to attend the 2023 Essex Writers Day event that is taking place on the 24th of June at Chelmsford Library, County Hall, Market Road Chelmsford, CM1 1QH between 10am and 4pm. As well as having a stand for people to buy signed copies of ‘Astrid book 1’: War changes people' and ‘Astrid book 2: Good people do bad things’, I will be taking part in the writers slam where I will be doing short reading taken from ‘Astrid Book 1’. This takes place between, 12.00 and 1.30.
I will also have on display the cover artwork for ‘Astrid book 3: The early missions’ along with an extended synopsis, and possibly a release date. I hope to be following this event up with some events of my own at various libraries in Essex, details of these will be available in due course.
From the June 1st, and for a limited time, e-published (Kindle et al) editions of ‘Astrid book 1: War changes people’ and ‘Astrid book 2: Good people do bad things’, will be available for 99p.
In other news, my horror novel ‘Perfect Strangers’ has been accepted by Austin Macauley and is in production. This is a change from my usual writing and is inspired by the Hammer Horror films.
Paul and Sophie are planning the holiday of a lifetime, and when they return they will finally start making plans for their marriage. Then one day a man - Larsen, turns up at Sophie's work. They work together, and he seems to know exactly what a woman wants, making her question her relationship with her fiancée. Paul meets Marty, who seems like a combination of every friend he has ever had. They bond over highly emotional experiences, then Marty introduces Paul to a world of willing women that he never knew existed.
